A huge heartfelt THANK YOU to all the TADCA and Fishing Club members for your incredible support during our working bee on July 19th. Although our numbers were small, our energy was abundant, as shown by the significant amount of work we accomplished.
Don’t forget we have our AGM coming up on the 5 September. Mark you calendars and come and join us at the Toogoom Hall to help plan the next 12 months. All commitee poitions will be vacated and we always welcome new members. TADCA’s purpose is to provide opportunities for the community to come together.
We maintain some wonderful facilities such as our fantastic hall with bar and commercial kitchen, the surrounding grounds, outdoor spaces, half basketball court and soccer field. The Toogoom Fishing Club is also located on the grounds.
Various community groups use the hall for activities including yoga, line dancing, mobility and exercise classes, christian fellowship and a number of social craft and sewing groups. TADCA also publish the local ‘Toogoom Chatter’ which brings together reports from local groups, events and local advertisers for locals to enjoy browsing each month.
Membership is only $10 per calendar year.
We would love to see more community members joining in our association. As the saying goes, many hands make light work, so whether you can spare a litle time or a lot we’d love to here from you. Also, dont forget our upcoming Bingo, Soup and Slippers evening on 29 August. Come down to the hall in your pyjamas and slippers (onesies are also encouraged) for a cozy night of bingo with soup provided for dinner. Just $15 for bingo cards, soup and bread.
