I would like to begin this month’s President’s Message by expressing my heartfelt thanks to our hardworking
committee members, who have given so much of their time and energy this year to make TADCA a truly
connected and active community association.
To our Executive Committee — Andrew Stephenson (Vice President), Dee Stephenson (Secretary), and Sandra
Christiansen (Treasurer) — thank you for your dedication, your support, and your tireless contributions throughout
the year. As you all step down from your roles at the upcoming AGM, please know how deeply appreciated you
are. You will be missed.
I would also like to acknowledge our committee members whose efforts have made this year such a success:
Jenny Andrwatha (Events Coordinator), Michelle Schaffer (Maintenance), Keith Lee (Maintenance), and Karen
Jobson (Prize Donation Organiser). Your commitment has strengthened TADCA and enriched our community.
With the AGM approaching, I’ve taken time to reflect on what we have achieved together. We have continued to
foster strong relationships with the Fishing Club, the Rural Fire Brigade, and the RSL. As a small community, these
partnerships are invaluable, and TADCA has greatly appreciated their support over the past twelve months.
It has been a remarkable year. We have held working bees, engaged with council, applied for grants — including
one successful application — and made plans to upgrade the tennis courts for pickleball. Our website is now up
and running, serving as a reliable resource for hall booking enquiries and community information. The Chatter is
published there each month, giving our advertisers a colourful new platform for their messages.
Keith, Michelle, and my husband Colin have taken on a great deal of the routine maintenance work, as well as new
projects such as the rear car park drainage, remediation of erosion channels, replacement of the back steps,
installation of rails in the toilets and at the back door, repairs to the front door, and replacement of the ramp. Colin
also resolved the drainage issues in the tennis shed — a big job, but one that has made a world of difference.

Our first Trivia Night, well received and expertly organised by Sandy and Michelle
Sandy has done an outstanding job producing the Chatter while also fulfilling her Treasurer duties. She has now
handed the Chatter over to our wonderful new editor, Amy Sadler, who stepped into the role just in time to
transition it from a discontinued program to a new one. Amy, your work has been impressive — without you, we
wouldn’t have a Chatter. Thank you.
