The first Trash and Treasure for the year was an outstanding success, with waves of people attending throughout the morning. It was wonderful to see such strong community support and so many smiling faces enjoying the event.
We had 12 stall holders, a number, we are sure will increase as time goes by.Use the event to clean out the “stuff” you have been meaning to get rid of for years.
Toogoom and District Community Association (TADCA) sincerely thanks Michelle and Noel for their exceptional organising skills and the many hours they dedicated to ensuring the day ran smoothly. A very special thank you also goes to the Car Display participants : The Majestic Vanners, their impressive vehicles attracted large crowds and created a real buzz across the grounds and we hope to host them again.
Our hardworking canteen team, Jenny and Meg, were absolutely run off their feet! Thank you both for keeping everyone well fed and refreshed with your usual friendly smiles. We also extend our appreciation to everyone who booked a site and contributed to the vibrant atmosphere. TADCA is excited to continue hosting Trash and Treasure on a regular basis and looks forward to building this event into an ongoing community favourite.
CPR & AED Education Session
In addition, the AED/CPR Education Session was attended by 15 community members, all of whom said they learnt something valuable. Our sincere thanks go to Tim McMahon for delivering such a professional, Informative and engaging presentation. Building skills and confidence in emergency response is an important asset for our community.
